Professional Interest

I have a deep interest in emerging technologies that will reshape digital interactions, especially in semantic web development and haptic UI technologies.

I am a fervent follower of Web Standards, Accessibility, and customer-obsessed approach due to the countless benefits they provide.

I have always been passionate about the idea of merging the sensitive imagery of design and the logical reasoning of programming because it allows to create highly functional and aesthetically appealing objects.

These are the most significant professional interests that I actively incorporate into my daily work:

Accessibility
The design of products, services, and environments to be usable by people with the widest range of abilities, including those with disabilities.
Semantic Web
A vision for extending the current World Wide Web by adding a layer of machine-readable data (metadata) that allows computers to understand the meaning of information, not just the words.
Customer Obsessed
A business strategy that prioritizes the customer's experience and needs above all else, making them the center of every business decision.
Atomic Design
A design methodology by Brad Frost that structures user interfaces into five levels —atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages— to promote reusability, consistency, and a modular approach to building complex systems.
Mobile First
A strategy in website and application development that prioritizes the user experience on mobile devices.
User Experience (UX)
Refers to a user's overall feelings and perceptions when interacting with a product, system, or service.
Web Performance
Represents to how quickly a website loads, renders content, and responds to user interactions
Design Systems
A comprehensive set of standards, reusable components, and guidelines that enable teams to design and build digital products consistently and efficiently.
Web Components
A set of APIs for building reusable, self-contained custom HTML elements with isolated logic and styling.
Content Strategy
A comprehensive plan that guides the creation, delivery, and management of content to achieve specific business goals and meet audience need
Responsive design
A development strategy that adapts website layout and content to various screen sizes, ensuring a consistent, user-friendly experience across devices.
Code Conventions & Best Practices
Shared rules that guide developers to write clean, consistent, and reliable code—making it easier to read, maintain, collaborate on, and scale across teams and projects.

And I practice others in my free time:

Haptic UI
Haptic (from the Greek haptesthai, meaning "to touch"). Technology that interfaces with the user through the sense of touch to enhance user interaction with digital devices.
Visual Storytelling
The art of conveying narratives and messages using visual elements like images, videos, illustrations, and infographics.
Augmented Reality (AR)
Is a technology that overlays digital content —like images, sounds, or data— onto the real world in real time, enhancing how users perceive and interact with their physical environment.
Virtual Reality (VR)
Is a digital simulation that immerses users in a 3D environment, allowing interaction and presence as if they were physically present through devices like headsets and motion trackers.
Kinetic Typography
The art of bringing text to life through animation mixing motion and text to express ideas, create an emotional connection, and make your content more visually appealing.
Motion Graphics
The art of bringing graphic design to life through animation and visual effects, often used to convey information, tell stories, or enhance visual appeal in various media.
Micro Frontends
An architectural approach for breaking down large, monolithic front-end applications (a big website) into smaller parts that work on their own. Different teams can build each part separately, and then brought together to create one smooth experience.
Web Apps Development
The process of creating software that runs on web servers and is accessed through web browsers.
Mobile Apps Development (Android and iOS)
The process of creating software applications designed to run on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
Videogames Development
Is the creative process of designing, building, and launching games combining concept creation, mechanics, rewards, and level design to foster engaging player experiences.
Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
Web applications that offer a user experience similar to native mobile apps.
Static Site Generation (SSG)
A web development technique where the HTML pages of a website are pre-built at build time, rather than dynamically generated on each user request.
Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
The practice of generating HTML content on the server and sending it to the client.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
The process of improve a website's visibility in unpaid search results by helping search engines understand it's content and match it to what users are looking for.

Academic Formation

I performed my studies at the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Xochimilco unit, where I was certified with the bachelor degree of "Graphic Communication Designer", with a specialty in Editorial Design in June 2006.

Later I had the opportunity to learn about the potential of the Internet and I continued my training through self-taught dark arts and both virtual & face-to-face courses.
